When I use with the knock off controller, it constantly kicks me out to the virtual console menu, even when no buttons were pressed. I thought I had great knock off wiimotes up until I tried them with this adapter. Please see my photos, which show the 3 steps to remapping.Another thing that is VERY IMPORTANT is to only use the ORIGINAL WIIMOTE (Official Nintendo Brand).
I had to remap in order for BOTH my N64 games and GC games to feel natural. You will have to go into "virtual console" settings in order to remap the buttons.
